Position Summary
The NOC Technician will work at our network operations center. Monitoring and Customer support: First line of defense for incoming technical requests from customers. Responsible for monitoring network and system alerts and performing initial analysis to identify and categorize issues. Knowledge within Sonar to troubleshoot common issues – radio alignment – adding routers- network testing- scheduling field techs for jobs. Basic issue resolution to address technical questions based on outlined troubleshooting procedures. Provide clear resolutions to customers and exceptional customer service. Understanding how to troubleshoot simple issues without any assistance and when to escalate more complex problems to higher level teams. Quickly resolving incidents. NOC Technicians work out of our Bosie Idaho office and report to the NOC Manager.
Position Responsibilities
- Monitoring and alerting of network when events happen
- Create tickets and work tickets in CRM for events
- Collaborating with the Network Engineering team on the development and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Providing technical end-user support, performing troubleshooting, and resolving network issues
- Running diagnostic tests on the communication between computers, routers, modems, and servers
- Providing support to higher level teams with proper documentation and escalation paths.
- Providing on-site field technicians with remote technical support
- Keeping informed of advancements in network infrastructure and technologies
- Provide best in class customer service to end users
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Certified Cisco, CompTIA, or Microsoft network professional preferred
- A minimum of two years' experience as a NOC technician, or similar
- Advanced knowledge of network technologies, connectivity, protocols, and security
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work rotating schedule

Additional information
Fatbeam requires a background check and the acceptance of a basic non-compete documents for all employees. The background check takes 3-5 days.
