Position Summary/Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects
- Directs all phases of projects from inception through completion and develops required project reports and management status meetings
- Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. Leads the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
- Develop and maintain strong communication channels, both internal management exposure and externally for project teams
- Coordinate with Operations and Finance to develop and maintain capital budgets
- Work with local and regional vendors and service providers for seamless customer turn‐ups
- Facilitates and coordinates internal staff regarding project timelines, along with reporting on progress of projects
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules; identifies project problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
- Prepares accurate and timely construction schedules and expense documentation
- Work closely with Project controls to plan, schedule, control, and communicate project impacts, budget changes, scope changes, change control, risks, and project status reports
- Prepares reports for management as required
- Working with project teams to develop, baseline, and analyze project schedule, budget, and progress, while keeping good communication with the customer in turning up their services
- Build and maintain close relationships with Fatbeam vendors and sub-contractors
- Assist in sub-contractors bid management process
- Responsibilities may change throughout the course of the job based upon required needs
Experience/Education/Minimum Requirements
- Clean driving record required
- Full‐time salaried position, which may include working on nights and weekends
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills required
- Detail oriented and extremely organized and efficient
- Strong computer experience with spreadsheets, project management and scheduling tools, is required
- Bachelor’s degree in operations engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required
- Estimated field travel of less than 5% required
Other Skills/Abilities
- Experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically competitive fiber service providers
- Knowledge of fiber optic inventory management systems
- Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and Google Earth
- Understanding of national standards associated with fiber construction

Additional information
Fatbeam requires a background check and the acceptance of a basic non-compete documents for all employees. The background check takes 3-5 days. This offer would be pending upon the results of the background check.
